United Nations Young Professionals Programme (YPP) 2025

The United Nations Young Professionals Programme (YPP) is an annual recruitment initiative designed to attract highly qualified young professionals to start a career as an international civil servant at the UN.



Eligibility Criteria

Must be a national of a participating UN Member State.

Age: 32 years or younger by the end of 2025.

Education: A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) relevant to the exam area.

Languages: Fluency in English or French (working languages of the UN).

Applications Open: Mid-October 2025

Examination Areas & Details: Published on the official YPP page

Assessment Process: Application review → Written exam → Oral interview
