Australia Awards Africa provides prestigious, fully funded postgraduate scholarships to outstanding African professionals to study at leading universities in Australia. The program is designed to develop leadership skills, strengthen institutions, and contribute to sustainable development and positive change in participants’ home countries.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be a citizen of one of the eligible African countries listed below
- Be currently living and working in their home country
- Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Not already hold a Master’s degree
- Be a mid-level to senior professional with relevant work experience
- Demonstrate commitment to contributing to development outcomes in their home country
- Have sufficient English proficiency for postgraduate study
- Meet Australian Student Visa (Subclass 500) requirements
- Submit two referee reports using official templates
