Australia Awards Scholarships are fully funded international development awards offered by the Australian Government (DFAT). They enable citizens from eligible developing countries to undertake full-time study at participating Australian universities or TAFE institutions, build leadership skills, and contribute to development in their home countries.
Eligibility:
- Must be a citizen of an eligible participating country.
- Must meet academic and English language requirements of the chosen program.
- Must not be an Australian permanent resident or intending migrant.
- Must meet country-specific eligibility requirements and priority fields.
Benefits:
- Full tuition fees for the duration of the study program.
- Return economy-class airfare between home country and Australia.
- Living stipend to cover daily expenses.
- Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).
- Establishment allowance on arrival.
- Additional academic or fieldwork allowances where applicable.
