The Paris Conference on Education (PCE 2026) is an international interdisciplinary academic conference organised by The International Academic Forum (IAFOR). It brings together researchers, educators, scholars, and professionals to discuss topics related to education, intercultural dialogue, and interdisciplinary studies. The event will take place at the Sorbonne University International Conference Center (CICSU) in Paris, France, from 15 June to 19 June 2026. The conference runs alongside the Paris Conference on Arts & Humanities (PCAH 2026), and delegates can attend sessions across both programmes.
Eligibility
- Open to academics, researchers, graduate students, early career scholars, and professionals with an interest in education and related fields.
- Applicants can submit research abstracts for consideration to present at the conference.
- Eligibility for financial support is focused on individuals with accepted research submissions (abstract/paper) and who meet criteria for IAFOR funding.
Benefits
The conference itself is not fully funded for all participants. However, IAFOR offers limited financial support for eligible presenters:
- Grants and scholarships: Full or partial scholarships may be available to cover conference registration fees for selected PhD students and early career academics.
- Travel and accommodation support: Some awards (such as the Stuart D. B. Picken Grant) may provide partial financial support (e.g., up to a set amount for airfare and accommodation) to eligible applicants.
- Financial awards are competitive, limited in number, and based on abstract quality and relevance.
Important: Most attendees must pay their own conference registration, travel, and accommodation unless they secure one of these competitive awards.
Deadline
- Early Bird Abstract Submission Deadline: 15 January 2026 (for consideration for scholarships/grants).
- Final Abstract Submission Deadline: 20 March 2026.
- Registration Deadline for Presenters: 30 April 2026.
Note: To be considered for financial support, abstracts should be submitted by the early submission deadline.
