The United Nations, through the UNIVR (University for Refugees Academic Corridor) Scholarship Program, offers a fully-funded two-year Master’s program at Sciences Po, Paris. This initiative provides comprehensive support including tuition, living grants, study-related costs, and administrative assistance for refugees residing in their first country of asylum. The program also facilitates smoother entry into the French higher education system.
Eligibility:
- Must be formally recognized as a refugee by UNHCR or by their initial country of asylum (asylum seekers are not eligible).
- Must currently live in their first asylum-seeking country outside the EU.
- Applicants must be under 30 years old at the time of application.
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a field related to the Master’s program applied for.
- Proficiency in French or English at B2 level (depending on the program language) is required.
