The Generation Connect Young
Leadership Programme (GCYLP) is a global youth leadership initiative
organized by the International Telecommunication Union in partnership with Huawei.
The programme supports young digital changemakers from around the world by
providing mentorship, leadership training, and funding to implement innovative
digital development projects in their communities. Young people interested in
technology, innovation, and social impact are encouraged to apply and lead
projects that contribute to a more inclusive digital future.

Eligibility Criteria
• Open to applicants from all
nationalities worldwide
• Applicants should be 18–28 years old
• Must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a tertiary
education programme in STEM or a related field
• Must have a strong interest in digital innovation and community impact
• Must be able to communicate in English, the official language of the
programme
