The NEAM Regional Training on Tsunami Inundation Modeling and Mapping is a specialized international training program designed for researchers, disaster risk reduction (DRR) practitioners, and technical experts working in coastal and ocean-related fields. Organized under the UNESCO/IOC CoastWAVE 2.0 Project, this program focuses on tsunami risk assessment, inundation modeling, and hazard mapping, combining online sessions with in-person practical training. It aims to strengthen technical capacity in early warning systems, coastal resilience, and disaster preparedness.
