20th Conference of Children and Youth on Climate Change (COY20)

The Conference of Youth (COY) is the world’s largest youth gathering on climate change, organized by YOUNGO, the official Children and Youth Constituency of the UNFCCC. Recognized by the UNFCCC, it serves as the youth preparatory space ahead of the annual UN Climate Conference (COP).

COY20 will unite children and young people globally to build capacity, strengthen advocacy, and co-create the Global Youth Statement, the collective youth input to the UNFCCC process.

Eligibility

Under 35 years of age at the time of COY20

Demonstrated engagement in climate action, youth leadership, or policy advocacy (local, regional, or international)

Commitment to pre- and post-COY20 preparations, meetings, and follow-ups
