The Youth Environment Assembly (YEA 2025) is the world’s largest youth gathering on environmental matters, organized by the Children and Youth Major Group to UNEP (CYMG). It provides a platform for young leaders and organizations to strengthen collaboration, influence global environmental policy, and engage directly with the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA) process.
🎯 Objectives
• Policy Engagement: Equip youth to participate in UNEA negotiations and multilateral environmental agreements.
• Capacity Building: Offer workshops and thematic discussions on biodiversity, climate, pollution, and circular economy.
• Networking & Action: Connect youth from all regions to co-create solutions and partnerships for a sustainable planet.

• Youth aged 18–35 (exceptions for active younger participants)
• Individuals and youth-led organizations working on environment, climate, or sustainable development
• Participants interested in UNEA policy advocacy and grassroots action
