🎯 What It's About
The HSC Youth Ambassador Program is an initiative for young changemakers from Emerging Markets and Developing Economies (EMDE). It aims to amplify underrepresented voices in global sustainability dialogues by giving selected young leaders a platform to engage with decision-makers, contribute to conference formats, and help shape the sustainability agenda at HSC.
The conference takes place in Hamburg, Germany, on 29-30 June 2026.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
You qualify if you meet all of these:
Age between 18 and 30 years.
Live in (and are from) a country classified as an Emerging Market or Developing Economy (EMDE).
Have a proven track record of leading or contributing to sustainability efforts in your community. This could be founding or participating in initiatives or raising awareness.
Be able to commit to full participation in the conference and related pre-conference work.
🎁 What You’ll Get
Selected Youth Ambassadors will receive:
Fully funded participation: travel & accommodation costs covered.
Access to engage with 1,600+ global leaders, press, and youth during conference sessions.
Opportunities to speak or attend sessions depending on your expertise.
Collaboration and exchange with fellow Youth Ambassadors before, during, and after the conference.
📝 Application Requirements
When applying, the following are required:
1. Personal info: First name, last name, date of birth, gender.
2. Country of origin & residence.
3. Email address.
4. Organization affiliation (name / role) if applicable.
5. Description of your sustainability work: past achievements and future plans.
6. Themes that reflect your engagement: choose from topics like climate action, renewable energy, circular economy, biodiversity, etc.
7. Goals as Youth Ambassador: what you hope to gain, and engagement type you’d prefer (e.g., speaking, moderating, storytelling).
8. Skill set: public speaking, storytelling, video/photo editing, etc.
9. LinkedIn profile link.
10. Social media presence: share any social profiles or content showcasing your work.
11. Agree to privacy policy (form includes consent checkbox).
