3rd Global MAB Youth Forum 2026 – Rosolina Mare, Italy

 The 3rd Global MAB Youth Forum 2026 is an international youth forum organized under UNESCO’s Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme. It brings together young people actively engaged in Biosphere Reserves to exchange ideas, develop leadership skills, and contribute to biodiversity conservation, climate action, and sustainable development. The forum takes place in Rosolina Mare, Italy, and is open to young people aged 18–35 who are connected to UNESCO Biosphere Reserves. This forum provides a platform for youth to influence MAB governance and implement impactful environmental actions globally.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

·       Be a national of any country

·       Be between 18–35 years old

·       Be actively engaged in or connected to UNESCO Biosphere Reserves (living, working, studying, volunteering, researching, or supporting BR-related activities)

·       Demonstrate commitment to biodiversity, climate action, and sustainable development

·       Have potential to contribute to MAB Youth Forum objectives

How to Apply

1.      Submit an online Expression of Interest through the official UNESCO MAB application form

2.      Provide required documents depending on your application pathway:

·       National MAB Youth Focal Points: Confirmation of designation, experience summary, contribution statement, follow-up plan, and travel funding indication

·       Open Call Participants: CV, experience summary, contribution statement, follow-up plan, endorsement letter, and travel funding indication

3.      Submit all documents before 23 March 2026, 23:59 CET

4.      No application fee is required
