Arrell Scholarship for Master’s Students – University of Guelph, Canada

The Arrell Scholarship is a fully funded graduate scholarship offered by the University of Guelph. It supports outstanding students pursuing a Master’s degree whose research focuses on global food system challenges, including agriculture, food security, nutrition, sustainability, and environmental resilience. The scholarship not only provides financial support but also connects students to interdisciplinary research programs and experiential learning opportunities through the Arrell Food Institute.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Apply to or be accepted into a Master’s program at the University of Guelph for the Fall intake following the scholarship deadline.
  • Maintain a strong academic record, typically a minimum A- average or First Class equivalent.
  • Propose research that aligns with the mission of the Arrell Food Institute, addressing issues in food systems, nutrition, sustainability, or agriculture.
  • Open to international students, including students from Somalia and other developing countries.
  • Applicants must meet all department-specific admission requirements, including transcripts and any additional documentation.
