The McCain Global Leaders Program is a 12-month non-residential fellowship offered by the McCain Institute at Arizona State University. It brings together emerging and experienced leaders from around the world to strengthen leadership skills, expand networks, and deepen participants’ ability to tackle global challenges related to democracy, human rights, and freedom. The programme combines virtual learning with multiple in-person experiences across the world throughout the year.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be mid- to senior-career professionals with at least 5 years of professional experience.
- Demonstrate leadership experience and active engagement in work related to the programme’s themes.
- Have strong working proficiency in English (able to read, understand, discuss, and present in English).
- Be committed to participating in all in-person and virtual components of the programme.
- Be from any country — there is no age limit or minimum educational requirement.
English Test Requirements:
There is no official IELTS/TOEFL score requirement listed on the programme page, but applicants must have strong working English proficiency to take part fully in discussions and presentations.
