Senior Leadership for Peace Seminar 2026 | Switzerland

The Senior Leadership for Peace Seminar 2026 is a three-day intensive executive seminar held in Geneva, Switzerland. It is designed for senior leaders responsible for shaping peace and security agendas in their organisations or countries. The programme is jointly organised by the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP), UNITAR (United Nations Institute for Training and Research), and the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.

Participants engage in strategic discussions, peer exchanges, and leadership reflection focused on complex global peace and security challenges. Topics include adaptive leadership, the impacts of emerging technologies, rule of law, crisis management, and innovative peacebuilding strategies.

Eligibility:

  • Open to senior-level leaders and decision-makers in governments, international and multilateral organisations, civil society, or the private sector.
  • Applicants should hold strategic, executive, or senior advisory roles with responsibility for peace, security, or policy decisions.
  • There are no nationality restrictions, so professionals from Somalia and other countries are eligible.
